I have a an input delay when using this adapter with a Cabernet Ultra CL2 Active High Speed HDMI Cable, 75ft. Although the cabernet cable is long it has always worked with 1080P and 3D as well. Should I have got a different adaptor (active vs passive) or is the overall cable length in connection with a display port to HDMI adapter likely the problem?

BEST ANSWER: What you want is a repeater. Active adaptor just means there is conversion not signal boosting. ideally you would use two shorter cables with signal repeater(s).

BEST ANSWER: The cable has some weight to it that would indicate a higher gauge of wire being used but in order to answer your question you would need to cut the wire open and measure it. I think it's a case where you have to either trust the description or buy one and destroy it to make sure...

This cable worked
Ran 75 feet in an attic with lots of signal robbing wiring around it. A cheaper cable I bought from Amazon couldn't do the job. This cable did.

Good quality product! Highly recommend.
I knew the cable was a one direction feed, buuuut, I ended up grabbing the wrong end when fishing it through the walls.
I would recommend color coding one of ends differently!
Works great.

It's Directional
The cable works excellent, we were just unaware that it was directional. So when you go to plug it in make sure you have the 'source' and 'TV' plugs at the right ends. Other than that it works exactly like it should. We are using it to run our security camera feed directly to a TV mounted in our office.

HDMI active hi speed cable
Tried a 35ft. Active HDMI cable before this. Worked perfectly. Then I decided to try a 75ft. This also works perfect.

HDMI cable
Works good but you need a signal amplifier to avoid issues. The signal will get weaker with the diatance
