is there anyway to get these cables to work if they were installed in the wall in reverse? I'm at the point of tearing the wall open and install new cables.

BEST ANSWER: not that I know of, but can you at least tape/tie the replacement cable to your existing cable and use it as a pull for the new cable? Hopefully no one fastened the cable inside the wall.

I would just try it first (with some devices) if possible. Aside from the labels, it's not really clear how or why these cables would be technically directional...

The cable ends are labeled to avoid connecting to the wrong device. If they were installed backward, I would suggest pulling out the cable and re-installing.

No, they have to be installed in the right direction. Once installed correctly, they will work fine.

BEST ANSWER: These cables would pass 4K at 60 Hz but you would need either a Dynamic View or HOSS HDMI cable for HDR color.

BEST ANSWER: No it is not plenum rated just in wall. A plenum rated cable will have P after the CL2.

Can monoprice cabernet hdmi cable be connected to an active hdmi splitter?

Great!
Ordered a 45' cable and haven't had any issues with latency, audio desync, etc. It's been great for almost 2 years now. I later put a display switch, an angle adapter and an 18" patch cable in line with it, which is apparently a no-no with active cables. No problems there either. Highly recommended!

Excellent cable, almost perfect
Works well carries signal even though 45 ft cable. Only complaint is plug is long and if trying to plug in tight place pinches cord or won't fit.
