Do they come in pairs?
A shopper
on Aug 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The speaker stands do come in pairs (there are two in the single package you will receive) You have to assemble the stands but the process is easy and the end product very study and elegant looking. I would recommend the stands highly and they compliment perfectly the equipment they support. A wonderful accessory.

Is there in internal channel for speaker cable?
A shopper
on Nov 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. The channel is a slot at the bottom of the rear tube and another at the top of the rear tube. The wire therefore comes around the glass, as there is no hole in the glass for the wire. The wire is not really visible from the front of the stand. These are very attractive stands and the best value on the market.

as you can see from the illustration there are no holes in the glass top (shelf) but the large column that supports to the top has an open slot just under the top and one can pass the speaker wires down the inside of the tube to the below the elevated base

There is. The larger tube has a milled slot on top and bottom. The channel allows the table to enter the tube on top of the base (not below it) and from under the shelf.

Monoprice Glass Floor Speaker Stands (pair), Black

Monoprice Premium Dual 6.5 Inch 2-Way Tower Speakers (Pair) - Black Finish (Open Box)
BEST ANSWER: We knew the speakers would be short as we were tuning them. The frequency response is best with the tweeters below ear height, and they may sound excessively bright if the tweeters are elevated to ear height. Sound is subjective, so it could be something you like, so YMMV.

I would not advise it. I don't think it would be sufficiently stable. with speakers that tall. I have 11" tall bookshelf speakers on my stands, and these stands work very well with these speakers, but the base of these stands is not really large enough to provide the necessary stability for speakers as tall as yours. And with speakers that tall, I would think it would be too easy to bump them off the stands, and at the height of these stands, there is too much chance of the speakers being damaged if they fell.

They are sturdy stands and I think you would be fine putting the towers on them if you want them really high. I would only do this if they are in a big room with tall ceilings. They would be easily toppled, so I'd recommend filling the base poles with plastic bags of play sand. This is a common practice for making a more sturdy speaker stand that resonates less.

Monoprice Glass Floor Speaker Stands (pair), Black

Monolith by Monoprice 24in Speaker Stand (Each)
BEST ANSWER: I don't know what you mean by "screw in nut," but they come with small rubber/plastic feet that can be used on hardwood floor. The feet of the stands are pointed and are designed to be used with thick carpet. However, the extra feet are designed to be put on the floor so that the pointed feet fit inside. Its a good design that is sturdy, doesn't slide and won't harm the floor. I use mine in that configuration on hardwood with no issues.

NO . They are free floating on the speaker stand spikes and very sturdy .I believe fastening a speaker stand to a floor via a screw will degrade the sound as it will add additional means of transmitting sound directly to the floor .

Will these stands work with Elac Debut B6. 2?
New User U

BEST ANSWER: The glass top measures 9 7/8”W x 7 7/8”D.
They will hang quite a bit in the standard orientation since those speakers are narrow and deep. So they will fit but you won’t have them “facing the correct way” if that makes sense. Other than that they’re solid speaker stands and easy to assemble. Hefty enough to prevent rattles. Hope that helps!

Measure the size of the speakers so that the tweeters are at ear when speakers sit on stands and also see if the top plates compatible with speakers size. However, these stands are very light and feel like plastic material. Monoprice has other stands that are much more solid.

Follow-up question: In the photos, it appears that the top plate is deeper (9.8") than wide (7.9"), is this so? I find it odd that you give the dimensions, but not which dimension you're referencing.

My speakers weigh 31 lbs. each. Do you make this stand so that it can handle the additional weight? Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we would not offer a speaker stand that would support that weight. I would recommend searching an online marketplace or a local retailer.

Monoprice now offers the Monolith speaker stand Product # 24794 that will hold up to 75 pounds. They are much more expensive and sold as singles rather than a pair, but that extra cost is worth it for heavier-duty construction and ability to support heavy speakers.

I don’t have your answer, but any taller, and I don’t think these would be so stable (unless the base was also made bigger)

Monoprice Glass Floor Speaker Stands (pair), Black

Stage Right by Monoprice SV28 8in Bi-amplified Powered Studio Monitor Speakers with 150W Class AB Amp and 1in Silk Dome (pair)
BEST ANSWER: Just measure the base width and depth of your SV28 speakers and compare that to the measurements of the Monoprice Glass Floor Speaker Stand. If it's an inch or 2 over or under or either the SV28's or the Speaker Stand you should be fine.

Can the posts be filled in with sand to make them heavier?
A shopper

BEST ANSWER: Hello, due to warranty and safety issues, it is not recommended to modify these speaker stands by filling it with sand. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope your are understanding in the matter.

Can you describe the assembly process? Filling the tubes with sand is highly desirable. While not supported, I'm sure most customers would take the risk to add stability and sound deadening properties to these great looking stands. So, when assembling, is there access to the inside of the tubes?

The speaker stand 3022 does not fit with the immerse 33833. So If i purchase this stand how does it mount? it looks to me like there are screws on the bottom but the speaker 33833 has no screws on the bottom unless you drilled holes...so is it safe to just sit them on the mount????

Beautiful stands
Very classy looking; very sturdy, too. They fit my elderly EPI's very nicely. One thing: it would be nice if the plastic hard floor base feet had a little tackyness to them to stick to the carpet points. Everytime I move them a plastic foot falls off and I have to catch my speaker!

Good
Sturdy, so far so good. I have some Polk ES20s on them and they seem to be holding up with no issues. If i had a negative its that the spikes are not adjustable. I have one spot in my floor that is apparently not level, otherwise, all aspects have been excellent!

Monoprice speaker stands
Overall the stands look nice seems like well made..only thing is to me it looks on the website like the top plate is angled upwards slightly. But in fact they are level. So other than that would given 5 stars.Hope it helps.
