I cannot feel it under my new carpet. That is the whole point of purchase. It just works.

Recommended for areas where you cant have thick speaker wire lying around.

I am very disappointed with the quality of this flat speaker wire. Bought the 250 ft. spool and after going through about 100 ft found one major flaw with it. I found one of the channel had its wire completely cut off. It looks like this occurred during manufacturing as the outer layer plastic coating looked smeared (melted) off and you can see the exposed copper wires completed severed. This also tells me that the wire was never tested as they would've caught this flaw. It's a good thing I inspected the cable before installing it.

Wire came apart easy it is a average speaker wire, needs to be stronger

PROS: Flat, price was good.

CONS: Wire had numerous cuts in the plastic insulation. The whole outer layer had to be discarded because of the damage to the insulation
