Does this unit has a screw to screw in the wall?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, if you attached to an electrical receptacle with the standard separate 2" oval" outlets. Receptacles that are the newer, rectangular style do not have a screw in the middle, like the older style do. I still use this product though, as it plugs in fairly securely, depending on your receptacle. I just have to utilize care when plugging in or out an item.

Yes it does. Simply remove the existing outlet cover plate screw, leave the cover in place, plug in the Monoprice unit, and install the supplied screw. This makes it very secure. Love mine, I own 4 of them!

Yes it does have a screw but keep the original wall plate in place. Remove the center screws and plug the 6 outlet on top of the wall plate and use the included screw to fasten it to the outlet.

The screw is to secure the device to a standard two gang receptacle. It only will plug into the receptacle, not attach to a wall.

BEST ANSWER: You are NOT CORRECT. A double gang box refers to the electrical box that is in the wall, which will hold two light stitches or two double electrical outlets. The picture of the back of this product clearly shows that it plugs into a normal electrical outlet. A normal outlet fits in a single box.

Single gang - only takes a single receptacle, but covers the lower outlet of a standard duplex outlet. It would cover a double gang box - 4 outlet/double duplex from a size perspective, though.

The one I bought did, just went and looked at it, and yes, it still has that top section in the cutout on top glowing green. I probably bought it 6 months ago, but seeing as how they just sent me to help answer this, I'm assuming the product hasn't changed.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the USB ports deliver a total of up to 2.4A of current. This will charge iPhones and iPads, but it would be best to charge only 1 iPad on its own to charge properly since plugging in multiple devices would divide the current and therefore might charge the iPad too slowly (or the iPad might not show that it is charging if it is charged at the same time as another device on the other USB port). Thanks for checking.

BEST ANSWER: No, I actually like it as a night light. It does fad slowly over a long time. These are quite robust and all of mine have lasted a long time without any issues.

Great Secure Functional Outlet Surge Protector
These are great. We bought a bunch of them. I love that unlike others - these screw into the center outlet hole (Pro-tip - you can/should leave the existing outlet plate cover in place as it helps secure a tight fit to the outlet. Without the plate cover in place - it's wobbly) I like that the USB ports are on the front. Some alternatives from other companies have the USB ports on the top and if they are not screwed in/secure if you have people who leave the cables plugged in - they can slip behind - that is NOT the case with this MP product) My only suggestion (comes from my wife) is that it would be nice if there was an on/off switch for the green 'nightlight' that's built in at the top. I think the light is a nice addition but some might find the illumination unnecessary or bright.

Good product, but one big problem
Seems to be made pretty well. Has the outlets I need and it even comes with a screw long enough to secure it to the plug, that?s a nice touch. No problems with the plugs, all work well so far.
Here my big warning; the power status light is great to have but it?s very bright and way bigger than it should be. I finally got this installed behind a nightstand and it lasted one night. The light is VERY BRIGHT and simply won?t work in a bedroom. I wish there was a way to turn it off. I can?t see myself using this anywhere really. I?m probably beyond a return period or they would go back

Works great but I didn't know it would have a green light bar on top.
The power outlet seems well made and works fine. the 2 USB ports are very handy to have. The only thing I don't like about it is the bright bar of green light on top. I didn't expect it from the pictures or description. I will be covering it with gaffer tape at some point.

Works. Does what you would expect.
Minus 1 star because it wobbles in the socket easily and so when unplugging one item it can break continuity to all connected devices for a second. Would get 5 stars if it was more solidly connected to socket.
