This switch does work, and was a deal for the price I got it for via the monoprice store on ebay for $100. It is not however without flaws and I certainly would not be happy had I spent anywhere near the current MSRP on it.
PROS: -It does operate as advertised once you figure out the web ui. -VLAN's, snmp, etc operate as advertised
CONS: -The ui is full of grammatical errors, spelling mistakes and other random bugs. -The switch is based on what appears running ZebOS and is a broadcom platform running Linux, but no source is available (this violates the GPL and it is very easy to see via SNMP that the system is Linux) -The username/password page is broken and shows the password in the username field when you save your changes. -Passwords are stored in cleartext, and are available cleartext if you download your configuration
