These guitars are fantastic! They only needed to be tuned out of the shipping box and sound great. Impressive - frets clean, action low, tuning pegs held, intonation was fine. The gigbag is well padded and the accessories complete the package. I'd buy another if available.

I got this Acoustic electric guitar at a bargain basement price and I had been looking for a long time to get one. And they even included a string tuner, some spare strings, a strap and a carrying bag as well! It was easy to jump in on this deal. If you're in the market for a low cost acoustic electric guitar, keep an eye out for great deals from Monoprice.

You can't beat it for the price! Set up was acceptable. Sounds good. Great for anyone who wants a guitar that you can take with you without worrying about losing a $3500 Gibson or Martin. Plus, I don't think that the big name guitars made in C--an are worth 5/10 times as much as this guitar. I own aGibson& a Fender both American made . I love them both. However, I really enjoy this acoustic.

I love it. It resonates so well and that's extremely motivating. I love the one button to tune and the extra tuner that now lives on my other guitar. Sound great plugged in for recording too. I can not find a flaw on it! The new strings are stretching in nicely. It plays so well just as is, and the action and intonation are almost perfect and will be even better when I tweak them. Nearly a perfect experience.

Arrived within a week. Setup was good. Action was little low and the strings needed stretching, but a very good setup and no fret sprout or machine marks. Very playable right out of the box.

I've had mine for a few years now, when I recieved this guitar it was setup too low and the frets buzzed. A little tweaking of the trussrod and it was okay. Initially it was very bright yet flat sounding. Better strings helped, brass pins really helped. A few years in and it just keeps sounding better, the top is aging nicely. Only issue was that a tuning key broke (plastic knob). Installed some Wilkinsons and its fine. I have higher end guitars that do sound and play better, but this guitar is great, especially for the money.

The instrument arrived carefully packed, without a flaw. It looks even better than depicted.
I immediately spent a few minutes tuning and playing and then placed it on a stand in my music room. A week later, the tuning needed just a slight touch-up.
Definitely worth more than I paid?
