I require a right angle, very flex-able 1/2 foot patch to go from a wall plate (cat5e in wall) to my poe+ switch that provides power to my ip cameras. I will have usually use a larger gauge for poe+, but since it is only one half a foot connection, do you think this thin patch is adequate?

BEST ANSWER: I have used this in the past and they work great. I have used them in a poe+ applications with no problems. But I hear that with higher power drawing gear the small cables can get hot. So be careful.

I would recommend to NOT use this cable for POE+. The small conductor diameter will result in heat and insertion loss that could effect performance of the cable in regards to data transmission.

Can you provide the connector height? Ie the distance from the tip of the connector to the outside of the right angle bend? I need to see if it will fit in my space
