This little device has helped tremendously. I cant use both ports simultaneously but I can use the hdmi port on my laptop and plug this into my laptop to use the display port on the device. So now I can use both monitors on my laptop. Love it !

Whoa. Just noticed that not only can I plug stuff into this thing, but get this: I can plug it into other things! Craziness. I can't even tell you how much fun we've had plugging things into this and now plugging it into other things. I would say life changing, but I'm not a big fan of hyperbole, so I will just quote my 12 year old son:
"Epic. Can I have my phone back?"

We bought this adapter for Windows users as we were upgrading to Lenovo laptops and also have some Mac users in our company with USB-c connections. I tried this connection on both and it preformed like a champ. Good Job Monoprice! I have back ups in case we need to add a dual monitor to our Mac users.

Works well with my MacBook Pro. Was concerned third party dongles haven't worked in the past, but no such issue here.

Bought a few of these to go with my new MacBook Pro.
Works great and I love the flexibility of having three different kinds of output.

It should be noted that only one output will work at a time, so if you want to have multiple outputs from your Mac, you will need to buy a couple of these. I've connected up to three to my Mac with no problems.
