Can the round plate be mounted to another tv mount to give the existing mount the rotating feature?

Can the tv mount be removed from the wall mount after installation? The manual shows it does, but the manual is for a product with a circular wall mount so I wasn't sure if the manual attached to this product listing is the correct manual.

Does this have locking areas or detents at 90 degree angles? I can't tell from the reviews if it doesn't have them at all, or they're just not very effective.

BEST ANSWER: No, this model does not have locking areas. While it is a secure mount, we had to improvise to get the position to lock when mounting a large screen vertically.

Has the rotating issue been solved ? Seen many reviews on Amazon and elsewere about rotating not locking in after a few uses. Our use will have it being rotated often and don't want to have to jury rig up some type of hold for it.

Product is fair
Product was used to mount an 85 inch television vertically. The mount is sturdy but would not lock the television into position leaving the television leaning to one side. The crew improvised way to keep the television level.

This is perfect for my 55? 4k TV set up. I set it to vertical as a digital poster when I?m not using it as a normal TV/computer monitor. The price is somewhere around half of what I found it for on amazon and the like. Thank you!

Happy With The Results
Bought this to be able to rotate a TV out of the way on a small wall between two doors. Works perfectly to the purpose. As other review said, does not make audible clicks once TV is mounted to the front. It is a bit difficult to mount - I put a large TV on and it required 2 people, and even then the circular plate is difficult to align first time. Once it is placed, it is very solid. Would recommend if you need a rotating mount.

Good, but not great.
Not bad. Easy to assembly and does the job except for clicking into position. When I took it out of the box I tested it and it snapped into position perfectly as I rotated it. However, once the TV was mounted that feature didnt really work. Not a big deal, but it would be better to not have to eyeball it.
