We need a 50ft extension in our studio for working with VR systems. We already have HDMI and USB working fine at that distance for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Now we need a DisplayPort solution for the PiMax 5K+. It runs 2* 2560*1440,7.5Million pixels in total at 90Hz. Can you advise as to whether this cable will work?

BEST ANSWER: The specs say that it will handle 4K@120Hz with 24-bit RGB color. 7.5 Mega pixels is less than 4K (8.3 Mega pixels). So, this should handle your bandwidth assuming that you don't need more than 24 bit RGB color. You should even be able to run at 120 Hz if the PiMax can handle it.
