This case does what it needs to do- it seems solid, & the lid closes & seems to seal the contents inside well enough. Granted, the conditions of its use are not very extreme- it remained outdoors 24/7 under an exterior porch cover this last CA rainy season, whence I found NO moisture or condensation upon its contents. The cubed-foam interior it came supplied with is not too contentious to work with. The only nit I have is the lid latches can be a bit difficult to disengage when you try to open the case. I might need to try some silicon spray lubricant on the latch contacts? Yet overall, I'd have to say I'm generally pleased with this case.

Well constructed, perfect for my needs! I needed to do a slight modification as it doesn't stand upright when closed!

When reviewers mentioned using for a gun case, they must have 2 or 3 inch barrels. But this is a nice solid case that I can find plenty of uses for.
