Monoprice.com has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. Monoprice.com has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF. Dispute resolution through arbitration
In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and the Swiss-U.S. DPF, Monoprice.com commits to refer unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and the Swiss-U.S. DPF to the International Centre for Dispute Resolution–American Arbitration Association (“ICDR-AAA”), an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your DPF Principles-related complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your DPF Principles-related complaint to your satisfaction, please visit https://go.adr.org/dpf_irm.html for more information or to file a complaint. The services of ICDR-AAA are provided at no cost to you.

Any changes to our Self-Regulatory Privacy Framework will become effective upon posting of changes on this page and a revision of the "Last Modified" date above is applied.
FTC jurisdiction
The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over Monoprice.com’s compliance with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF).
Transfers to third-party controllers
Please note that individuals may, under certain conditions, invoke binding arbitration for complaints regarding DPF compliance not resolved by any of the other DPF mechanisms, provided that such an individual has invoked binding arbitration by delivering the required notice to Monoprice.com and followed the appropriate procedures. In the context of an onward transfer of personal information to a third party acting as a controller, Monoprice.com has responsibility for the processing of personal information it receives under the DPF Principles and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Monoprice.com shall remain liable under the DPF Principles if its agent processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the DPF Principles, unless it proves it was not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
