Where is the mount on the wall in relation to center of tv?
A shopper
on Apr 11, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Physically that all depends on the make and model of your tv. My TV mounts a little above the middle. Combine that with how the arm kind of stacks itself in order to articulate and where you need to mount on the wall gets lower and lower.

I think that depends on where the vesa plate is on your screen. The mount goes straight back when folded, the hinge folds either left or right to collapse against the wall.

The mount is center of the tv. Keep in mind the swivel of the arm allows the tv to be moved away from the mount on the wall.

How well does the tilt feature hold a small (21" screen) tv in place? Can the tilt be tightened if it sags?
A shopper

BEST ANSWER: I have a 24” tv screen mounted on mine. The tilt seems to hold very good. Yes I think it is adjustable, but I haven’t had to adjust mine. I like it well for my spare bedroom.

BEST ANSWER: I believe the distance from the top to bottom hole was about 4 inches. Bracket piece that mounted onto the wall was about 1 1/2" wide.

What is the vertical measurement of the bracket where it attaches to the wall? Information is not supplied on the dimensional drawing.

When this mount is pushed back against the wall, does the center of the vesa plate align with the center of the wall mounting plate, or is there an offset to one side? If there is an offset, how many inches is it?

5 stars, but can use some improvements
Very nicely made, heavy mount. Better than I expected for the price.
A couple of minor gripes..
The rotation lock consists of 2 screws. I found it difficult to get the device level, then tighten the 2 screws without it going slightly off-level in the process. In other words, it seems the process of tightening the screws throws the rotation off just a little. If you want the device perfectly level, you have to play around with it tightening and loosening several times. I think a friction-rotate hub similar to what is built into many desktop stands would work better. Just rotate until level and it stays put - no screws needed.
The plate that attaches the bracket to the device is designed to sit flat against the back of the device. But for many devices the VESA attach face is recessed below the back. I had to file off the outside corners of the bracket in order to get it to slip down into the recess. The attach plate should be designed so that it works for any case. Look at product #8678 for an example.
