exactly what I needed to help me adapt a spare SATA power lead into an extra Molex 4 pin connector

I needed to hook up 4 in 3 hot swap cages from rosewill, but for some reason they only come with molex connectors. My PSU only has a few of those, so these adapters fit the bill perfectly, and at a fraction of the price compared to amazon.ca.
Also, thankfully, Canada Post delivered fairly quickly (they've "lost" some monoprice parcels that were shipped to me in the past.)

I tried this adapter to provide motherboard power to my USB3 internal card, which has Molex connector to MB. No luck: when connecting the drive to the card, the system either refuses to recognize it, or crashes altogether. For such a price, didn't want any headache with returning process. You get what you pay for.

Exactly as expected and long enough for the full size case to get to power the PCIe USB 3.0 card.

Ordered 4, three were good, one had one of the connections not soldered, wire flopping about. For $1.43 each, it is not worth my time to request a replacement/pay for the postage. Price just went up to $1.90 each.

I actually haven't used it yet. I intend to modify it for a special application. I have a USB card that has a cable with a small 2-pin power connector on one end and a USB motherboard connector on the other. I want my motherboard USB connector for...well...USB. So, I need to connect to some other power source. I could add another Molex power cable and connect to that. But I already have a SATA power cable installed with a free connector. So, I need a MALE SATA power connector. I hope to remove the small 4-pin connector from this cable and add a 2-pin connector. This cable has a lot more than I need, but it isn't easy to find a fairly long cable with a MALE SATA connector.

PROS: Low price and has a MALE SATA connector

CONS: None really. Just a lot more connectors and wires than I need for my specific application.

Switched out old case parts with some newer case parts. Old Molex didn't work. Ordered this one and it worked perfectly. I'm now up and running.
