BEST ANSWER: The female end is 1 inch wide. ½ inch thick.1¾ long. Depending on length (mine is 50ft) it has a amplifier of sort half way down the cord. same dimensions. Cord itself is ¼ wide. Hope this helps

What is the minimum conduit size the male end could fit in if we want to run this through a conduit in the floor?

BEST ANSWER: Well the male end connection measures 19/32" wide by 5/16" thick by 1" long (1 5/16" including cable boot, 1 13/16" including plug and cable boot). So as long as the conduit can accommodate that then you will be good to go.

Has anyone run a hub off of the end of this? I was hoping to run two Corsair wifi dongles at the end of the extension.

BEST ANSWER: Yes. No problem. I use the 49' cable to connect a computer to two devices in the next room (in a TV cabinet): a video capture card that connects to a DVR; and a USB switch that connects to a HDD and a media player. The whole setup works fine.

I bought this 6 months ago to operate a mouse and keyboard on a workstation I set up 45 feet from the office. I’m operating a second monitor on a 50’ vga cable. It worked great for a while. Then it just stopped. I can plug a second set of mouse and keyboard directly into the main office computer and both sets work. but now when I use the extension cable the second set will not work. Do they just wear out quickly? Should I get another one.? I need a downstairs workstation.

Does the job well
Thanks to a gross over-estimation on my part, I ordered the 49ft cable when I could have easily gotten away with the 32ft. I was a bit worried about that as my plan entailed using a hub at the end of it with keyboard, mouse, and a flight stick. As it happens, my fears were unwarranted as the cable performed perfectly in the scenario. The inline amplifier seems more than enough to carry the signals back and forth. I also tested connecting a camera just to see, and it seemed to work fine (I didn't do any thorough frame rate tests or anything). Overall, quite pleased out of the box. Time will tell on any durability questions.
