Just what I need. How does it hold up to use? I have read about the plastic ones falling apart.

BEST ANSWER: They work excellent. Extremely durable. You would need a hammer or some other extreme force to break them. I bought four. Very useful for plugging your smartphone or tablet into a mixing console or powered speaker.

I got one to connect computer audio output to a mixing board, haven't used it a lot but seems to work fine, doesn't seem like it is something that will fall apart.

Stereo Headphones with a 3.5mm stereo plug on the end of the wire plug into the end of the adapter that converts it to 1/4 inch mono.

It's been a while since I used a 1/4 plug and jack. I remember that I used to push the plug all the way into the jack. I noticed with these, that if I do that, they don't make a connection. In order for them to work properly I have to back them out a little, going by feel. Does that sound right? Am I missing something?

perfect for balanced inputs/outputs
Converting from 1/4 to 1/8 mono is often needed when you are using balanced inputs/outputs. Also 1/8 inch cables are easier to carry around.
