Used this is a commercial restaurant install. Lovely cable. Get this if you need a long run.

Good product. Excellent transmission without amplifier at 50ft. Nice low profile connections.

I've bought about 30 of these cables over the years. They have a tendency to short. Maybe the quality have dropped a bit in the last year. The 5 or 6 that have issues were purchased in the last year. I'm officially done buying this type of VGA.

PROS: skinny, but if it doesn't work then skinny don't matter.

I use this cable a lot and it has worked wonderfully for me as a DJ. I probably use it in some of the harsher conditions these types of cables will see and it still stands strong

This works great for my purposes of running my laptop to a projector in my room. I'm not running HD or anything, so I figured this would be perfect, and it is. I wouldn't try to run anything over 720p down this, but it has the advantage of being super thin. Seriously, like CAT5 wire thin. Quick delivery too, I'm never disappointed with Monoprice.

PROS: Thin, Long, Small connector doesn't put a lot of strain on the input

CONS: Probably won't do super-high resolutions well, but seriously, do you really expect it to?

This is used in a church environment laid in a suspended ceiling. On the project end, the connection is made each week (church has to setup and tear down), and on the other end, the last 15'+/- is rolled and stored in the ceiling each week. We use this to run ProPresenter presentation from a Mac Mini via an HDMI to VGA converter. The original cable had been used for about eight or nine months and started having issues (similar to those described by several other reviewers) when we could only get on color out. Finally traced it down to the connector on the computer end being twisted, probably through weekly use and storage. Monoprice replaced it as part of their cable replacement guarantee (Excellent service!). The new cable has been in place for several weeks and works perfectly, just like the first one did. I am a little concerned with the way the wire and connector are integrated, but we're being careful with the connection and storage to make sure it doesn't get twisted up. Otherwise, this has been a great cable ... excellent signal and excellent value!
