Works great, soldered easily

Quality microphone connector art a reasonable price. Easy to wire and reassembles securely. Connects and disconnects with ,mixer flawlessly.

So I bought them. I love them. But I don't want to use them for any of my puny cables! I'd much rather just save them and buy some more of these with the cables attached. I love this brand of cables!!!

Nice female XLR connector, good quality and easy to use in making my own mic cables

This was ordered for a time sensitive project so there was no way sending it back but I had to use it. Purchased a pair and both were rusted and corroded. When I unscrewed the jacket sleeve, the gold plated underneath the jacket was fine.



How these were shipped to me without visual inspection was a major let down.



Don't recommend this product and monoprice for prospect customers.

PROS: It arrived

CONS: Gold plated that is exposed to air, some areas were rusty and corroded.

Used these to repair a couple of xlr cables that were damaged. Found these connectors very easy to install, They fit the cable and make good solid, quiet connections.

Yeah, so I've reviewed the TRS and MXLR counterparts already and my feelings are the same here. Solid connectors. Seems like a logical, rugged design. The price has allowed me to wire my modest home recording set-up at a fraction of the price that it would have cost me with pre-assembled cables. I have used other connectors (mostly Neutrik), and in comparison these work great, feel very solid, solder easily, and make sense to me.

PROS: price, performance.

CONS: The little holes where you slide the wire through are really quite small...

I have been customer with monoprice over 7 year never got problem. They are good service and the price is reasonable.

These are fantastic screw type connectors. They're super easy to solder to, they look great, and they fit right. The Male XLR connector from Monoprice fits VERY tight into your gear and mic panels, but this connector doesn't suffer from that.

PROS: Construction, Look, Feel, Price

CONS: None
