It is 25” from bridge to nut, same as my Epiphone Les Paul gold top.

How do the controls like volume knobs work oh. Do you have to turn one of them on before the other one will work or will they work individually when the switch is in the middle position?

BEST ANSWER: It has the classic Les Paul wiring issue, where if you roll one all the way off in middle position, it silences the other.

First of all, I love this guitar. It has great sound and feel. It's a bit weighty, but it's about the same as a real Les Paul.. The volume knobs where great. As far as the middle switch position, they both have to be on. Hope that helps.

Each pickup has its own set of volume, and tone controls . The toggle switches between neck only, neck and bridge, and bridge only

I have not opened up the control cavity to look at spacing, but usually Monoprice is pretty good and fairly generous with their routings. Even if you had to route it out a bit to fit, it shouldn’t be a big issue.

How come the lespaul body siding has a big block of lumber glued in spanning the anchoring area intonate plus tail stop? Is that strange obvious special lumber joiner error? It is very distinct color depth contrasted. Maybe the tree was too tiny so many tiny trees glued producing girth sufficiency?

Great Playing guitar
Found this guitar on sale and thought I would give it a try. I always wanted an LP guitar with P90s. I just happened to purchase a Gretch Electromatic LP-style guitar with P90s the same week, So I want to compare them. Build quality is close. The Indio guitar did have one medium-type Blemish and one minor blemish. Both Blemishes do not bother me though I can see how someone new to guitar playing would return the guitar.
The Gretch was without Blemishes. Playability, After changing the strings to 9s neck relief was darn perfect on both guitars. I did polish the guitar frets on both guitars and man the Indio guitar plays so much better than the Gretch. The Indio just plays so naturally. The neck on the Inido guitar just feels great in my hand. Electronics, The indio guitar is a few hairs dirtier on the electronics. The Gretch is cleaner sounding. If I were to upgrade the electronics on the Indio I think i would have a "perfect guitar" . Value, I purchased the Indio on sale for 155 and the gretch was also on sale for 299. I think for anyone who wants to get into guitar playing the Indio is an amazing value. it's on par with 599 guitars all day. I have purchased about 4 Monoprice guitars over the years and this Indio 66SB DLX guitar was the best one in the bunch. There is a reason why this guitar is always sold out.

Amazing value!
I've been playing for 30 years and am a pretty accomplished guitarist and musician. I couldn't believe the guitar I received from Monoprice - it's superb!
Yes, there are some manufacturing misses like tiny overpaint and the bridge has some finish blemishes....but past that, this guitar is simply amazing! I had a really nice $1000+ MIJ Les Paul in the past and this guitar easily hangs with that.
I was also afraid that I'd get a boat anchor (like some LPs are) but this one came in at <8 lbs. Perfect weight.
My only compliant with this guitar is that the pickups are a little too hot. The general tone is great especially into a Marshall style amp as it drives the amp well - but overall, I think they're a little too high-output for P90s. Get one - this is an amazing deal!

Much better than expected
Just got the guitar. It is a beauty. I cannot find a single issue with cosmetics, hardware or settings. It plays great out of the box. Not sure what kind of pickups are there and wanted to install Alnico2, but so far is happy with what it has. My Gibson LP can rest while I practice with this gold top phenomenon. Very surprised and enjoy playing this one. Buy w/o hesitation and have fun.

66SB DLX Plus Gold Review
We are in the golden age of guitar building. With the advent of CNC machining and a well trained overseas workforce, companies are pumping out some excellent products and Monoprice is no exception. I remember when I bought my boys electric guitars about 15 years ago for around the same price and those were horrible let me tell you, wouldn?t stay in tune long enough to get through one song. Well that has changed and speaking of golden age, this Gold 66SB DLX Plus P90 version I purchased about 6 months ago came to me flawless, action, intonation, build just flawless and I like the headstock, not crazy about the name branding (I would prefer it to just say ?Monoprice?). The P90?s, which is why I bought this model, growl and it sounds and plays really well. I?ve been playing for over 30 years, own an authentic Les Paul and Fender Professional Strat so I have plenty to compare this to. I plan to replace the electronics at some point with a kit, but it sounds great as is. Buy it and I hope yours comes as flawless as mine did. If you are looking to buy a first guitar for your children or even yourself, it is unbelievable the quality of this compared to 15 years ago, let me tell you. It should not disappoint!

66SB DLX Gold Top review
This guitar is great-----Has great fit and finish---No problems to note---String to Pickup pole piece alignment is good on this guitar---Makes me feel like I've got John Fogerty's 1956 Gibson Les Paul Gold top P90's guitar--It's a grat value for the money----I've bought other Indio by Monoprice guitars and they all had serial numbers on them but this one has none unknown why---Maybe Indio is no longer assigning serial numbers to their guitars---It doesn't change the fact that it's a great guitar but I guess I like to see the number on it---It kind of makes it an exclusive and unique entity but guitar is great nonetheless---

Finally Have A Goldtop
Back in the day, I had a twentieth anniversary Gibson Les Paul. I then subsequently sold it because I needed a Fender Rhodes to play keyboards for my band. Of course, I regret selling this guitar to this day. It had a neck of iron and was in excellent condition. I can only imagine it's value today. Now retired, I was looking for an LP to add to my guitar collection so I could get that classic LP tone. This guitar fits the bill. Upon receiving it I noticed that the top of the box, at the headstock, was bent and ripped. Worried that the headstock and neck was possibly damaged upon removing the guitar I was lucky that everything was fine.
It arrived in good shape, with low action, and the neck was straight. There was a slight buzz from the high E string but that's a simple fix. The neck is slim and straight and it fits my hand well. It's easy to move up and down the neck as it's not sticky from too much gloss. It's affordable and fits my needs perfectly. .

It's worth it even if you do have to send it back for a replacement in my opinion.
Would definitely order again for the value you get for the money! Only set back is just as earlier views I've seen your purchase may be defective so look over it well upon receiving to see if it is up to your standards. If it is not they will refund or replace your item. All in all it took between 3 and 4 weeks before I finally got just what I was looking for.

rare to see these specs for such a low price
setup very decent out of the box.
appears to be a full top not a veneer. the best part is the location of the tuners, sort of "PRS" where they made an attempt to have the strings come straight across the (bone) nut rather than a double break angle, helps with tuning stability. my plan is to modify it with a duesenberg trem, roller bridge, firebird pickup in the bridge (ala Neil Young). I thought it would be a great mod platform and really looks like it will be
