I bought these as a spare set for guests in my recording studio. They are lightweight and I love the detachable mini-XLR cable.
I wouldn't recommend for mixing. They have good bass, but have a very pronounced hi-mid range. Too harsh for my taste.
They are also not good if you have a large head (luckily I didn't buy these for myself to wear). I'm hat size 7 7/8 and the cups don't fully close around my ears.

Good buy
They're absolutely great for monitoring. I don't mix with headphones, so I can't speak to that aspect. However, when laying down instruments in the studio, they're perfect. Comfy, nice low end.
