I used this cable to run an ethernet connection from my basement to the 2nd floor, works as expected. Cable is shielded as is each pair.

I like the Cat6a cables and was recommend by a fellow Youtuber that these would be better quality then even some from Amazon.com and I wasn't disappointed. Though I don't plan to use these cables for a major network job they are very stiff and durable but flexible without the cable wire outside jacket "turning white" as I have seen some other brands do when flex for the second or third time. Be sure though that you aren't looking for double sheilded where each wire has its own shielding this cable has a layer of fold shielding and that's it. All around great product and will definitely buy again ***** review (I was not paid for this review)
