Great quality cable

these cables are pretty nice.
they have a shielded connector that i was not expecting, though am glad is there.
so far, so good.

Good cable at a low price and fast delivery. What else is there to say. I would order it again without question.

Cable worked as advertised. Connected from my router to my PC and is working great.

Works as described. Did not speed test. But cable works as described.

All the devices I hooked up to the cat-6a performed worse than the cables already installed (cat-5e or cat-5 cables). The main server, 4 different netgear powerline adapters. 1 other cpu''s and 3 mediacenter extenders running from a gigabit ethernet port. This is used for WMC/SageTV via cable card to hook up to extenders. Not sure why it had problems with the data flow for video.. I tested yesterday for several hours and it seems that the hardware I am using is not working as well with the cables . I did several resets of the device and network.

The cables themselves seem very high quality, however, fair warning, they are thicker and stiffer than then Cat-5e. Again, it may not be the cables fault at all and can be just the device compatibility, but I have to say that I was very disappointed.

For regular home solutions, you may want to stick to Cat-5e due to device compatibility or sensitivity issues that sometimes happen with the Cat-6a type of cable that I've read about. I have re-ordered all Cat-5e replacements hoping for much better results.

I have ordered several other cables for professional audio use (XLR) and never had one problem, Very high quality cables and superior performance is what I am used to from Monoprice.

The cables are designed for a purpose and perform adequately for that purpose. I don't regret purchasing this item.
