I just ordered a Monoprice usbA to mini b 2.0 cable. When I viewed an enlarged view, the end that plugs into my device(Korg nanoKontrol2 is square but I need it to be slim and horizontal for the nano. Do you have that configuration?

I have an Audioengine D1 DAC/Amp that shipped with a 2 ft. USB Type-A to USB Type-B cable. Audioengine identifies the USB device class as "Type 1.1. or above." The cable and DAC have worked perfectly, plug-and-play, out of the box with at least two different laptops. I purchased this Monoprice cable (6 ft.) to give myself a bit more freedom of movement with the laptop connected to the DAC, but it does not work. I've tried all of the standard fixes with no result other than a "USB device not recognized" error.

To be specific, I don't get the error message upon connecting the cable, but only after the cable is connected to my laptop AND the DAC. Predictably (I guess), the Monoprice cable does pass power to the DAC, but, apparently, not data. Also, when the Monoprice cable is connected, I hear a click, which I assume is a power relay. I do not hear that click when using the manufacturer's cable.

Any help?

Great price for USB-power cable Xmas light project. No data at speed of light

Hey, they are printer cables at a great price.

I am cutting the 'B' connector off to convert triple-AA-battery LED Xmas lights to USB-cube power. I wasn't going to respond to repeated requests for a review but this should take care of it.

Maybe ok for a printer, but not for audio.

I was using two cables with an adapter to connect my turntable to my laptop to transfer some music. The cables worked, but it was clunky and a little short to comfortably reach my laptop, so I bought this to make it a bit easier. Unfortunately, it doesn?t pass any audio at all. Since this type of cable is usually used for printer connections, maybe it wasn?t designed with enough bandwidth to work for audio applications? I don?t really know, but at least it was cheap enough that I don?t really need to care. Flush that money down the toilet and go back to two cables and an adapter. I?ve bought other Monoprice cables and they?ve always been great, but I struck out on this one.
