BEST ANSWER: Hello, thank you for your question. While it is possible, this item was not designed to be used as you described so we cannot recommend it for that use. The diameter of the cable is 18awg (1.02mm)

What is the outer diameter of the 18AWG cord?

BEST ANSWER: 1/4 inch plus or minus several thousandths of an inch. I measured several places with a micrometer.

Great power cables
They transfer power from the outlet to the PC. What a concept! The length allows us to maintain a cleaner desktop setup than shorter ones. Pretty fast delivery too.
