Very helpful while traveling at high altitudes. Batter door hard to open. Easiest to do with index finger in device and sliding batter door with thumb on same hand.

This is the same type used in a clinic or doctor's office. In fact his unit and mine showed the same results... What more needs to be said.

I purchased this to replace an unreliable Oximeter I use while exercising on my treadmill. The SevaCare Oximeter is very reliable, easy to use and read, and has great features the old one didn't have. I bought this oximeter from mono price because I think they have good quality control. Based on the one that I had and no longer working, I think the mono price one reads 2-3% too low. Other than that, it seems to work ok.

It work very well and reports results comparable to my other blood pressure cuff and Oxi pulsemeters.

There are two important things they don't tell you in the instructions:

1. You can put the cuff on somebody else and get it straight, but you can't put it on yourself without getting it cockeyed. It won't work right if it's not on straight. Therefore, adjust the cuff to the right size and slide it up your arm. Once you have it fitted properly, just slide it on and off. You won't need to adjust it again.

2. When you slide the cuff on and press start, it may go for a few seconds and then stop. The cuff is a little loose (or your arm is a little thinner than usual). Don't bother adjusting the cuff, just press stop and start again. The air from the first time will tighten the cuff enough for it to work properly the second time.

I can see why they didn't explain this in the instructions. The instructions are multi-lingual and as short as possible.
