Will this work to power my Vox mini go Amp (3 watt) that accepts 5 volt input via usb c?
A shopper
on Aug 28, 2023
BEST ANSWER: You should be able to run your amp with this. It will provide 11W of power with the QC. But it looks like the amp only wants less 2. amps at 5v which a normal wall charger would provide. So you should have no issues with this.

It just allows you to check the charge on the unit. It starts charging autmatically when you plug in your device.

So if I get a usbc to usbc cable I can fast charge the power bank?
pete c
on Oct 5, 2023
BEST ANSWER: It all depends on the power supply connected to the other end. Does it support PD or QC 3.0. If it doe then it will charge faster. Doesn't have to be a c to c , a to c cable works if the a end is higher powered.

Thank you for your inquiry. The wireless charging on this device would not work as the Apple Watch will require it's USB cable wireless charger to be able to charge.

I would recommend this pack, but not the supplied cable
This is reasonably compact and light weight and it charges fairly fast. It is good enough to add to my tablet battery while using it, which allows me to keep using it, and is why I bought this device. My tablet charges faster using my dedicated fast charger, but that one isn't portable. This would work even better on a phone. The supplied cable is USB A to USB C, doesn't fast charge, is too short. I was disappointed that Monoprice did not include a proper cable and, fortunately, I had a spare C to C charging cable I could use. If you buy this battery pack, plan to supply your own C to C charging cable.
Final judgement? Go ahead and buy this. Reviews for most of the other brands I looked at claim that they take up to ten hours to recharge. This one is worth it for the faster recharge if for nothing else. Add in the size and weight and I recommend it over anything I saw on Amazon. I purchased several excellent eARC HDMI cables from Monoprice previously, so I recommend them.

Works great, long lasting
Have had this for a few months now. We ordered three of them since we have so many devices and people using them. We ordered them for a trip we were going on and they worked wonderfully. Highly recommend. Hard to find this large of a storage battery for this cheap.

Great power bank
I bought this for a recent plane trip. It's quick to recharge and charged my iPhone and iPad and still had some charge left.
Now I use it at home when I want to keep something charged up but am not close to a plug.
I would buy this again.

This thing lasts forever!
I was camping for a week and got 6 charges out of it and it still had 24% battery left. Great product!

Holds it's charge for a long time.
It works so far. It stays at 100% for several weeks after charging. It seems to charge my phone okay.
I bought it for an emergency like the last time I wound up in the ER for 12 hours. I haven't needed it yet.

Response from Monoprice
It's good to hear that the Monoprice Compact 20,000 mAh Power Bank has held its charge well for you and that it seems to be working as expected. It's always reassuring to have a reliable power bank for emergency situations. I hope you won't need it in the future, but it's great to have it on hand just in case. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.

Early Days but So Far so Good
So far so good. I have only had it a few days but it seems to work well. The only issue is that it keeps shutting off and I am not sure why but when I research it, I gather that's normal. So still figuring it out. I bought it for travelling and have yet to use it for that.

Great little charger
Good value for the money. It is a pretty compact little unit. Whoever, it is heavy. I think it Hass to be two pack as much power into so much a little footprint. I have only used it a few times I've been able to charge my iPad 12.9 Pro iPhone pro max two or three times and still have a little juice left in the battery. Also, the USB port really helps to decrease charging time. Two for myself and one for a friend. Buy With Confidence.

Good to have handy
After one week I like the size and operation. Surprisingly fast to reload.. Would be 5 stars except actual weight is about 12% over listed spec weight.
