The logical next questions would be 1) why isn't this listed in the specs? and 2) do you have any passive cables (and will this feature be listed in the specs)?

Intel has stated that existing Thunderbolt 4 cables could run at Thunderbolt 5 speeds (80gbps), but that does not apply to these cables since the active circuitry doesn’t understand the new signal, and thus fall back to 40gbps?

BEST ANSWER: If this is truly an active cable then yes, it would be limited to 40 Gbps. But since it's a 1 m cable there's a good chance that it's actually passive, contrary to what others have said, and could support Thunderbolt 5. Your mileage may vary.

Feels good

Got it for a usb 3.2 gen2x2 drive, which is handles just fine. No way to verify the USB 4 rating.

Reasonably-priced Thunderbolt 4 cable

Bought this to replace the cable that "walked away" from my Lenovo Thunderbolt 4 dock at the office. The dock requires a true Thunderbolt 4 cable and this one works fine. It's a good value.
