How long is the full length of the monoprice 7 in 1 Paracord Survival Bracelet with Digital Watch and Compass set? Son-in-law has a large wrist.

BEST ANSWER: This band is designed for a very large wrist. The total length from buckle to buckle mechanism (watch face) is 9 inches. Clasped together the wrist diameter is 2 1/2". I am a male with medium size wrists and it is actually way to large for me.

Just measured mine and the actual band is 7 inches; however, the face adds a couple more. I've got a fairly large wrist and it fits--a smaller wrist might be more of a problem because the face is somewhat bulky.

Full length opened, including blade (measured from compass to blade tip), is 10.5". If you do not include the blade length, it is about 9.5" (measured from compass to Pure Outdoor logo).

To have the compass be accurate, given the placement of the knife and the window-shattering point immediately beneath the compass, the shattering point and the knife need to be made of a non-magnetic alloy. Can you please ensure that this is the case, perhaps specify the alloy used?

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The window breaker is made of a non-magnetic material and the knife is stainless steel. The only way the knife would be an issue to the magnet, is if you magnetized the knife yourself. Outside of that, the magnet in compass is not strong enough to magnetize the knife.

BEST ANSWER: The length from the end of the buckle to the other end of the buckle is 9 1/2 inches. The blade adds approximately 1 1/2 inches but it fits inside one end of the buckle when clasped.

Cool accessory
Everything is as described. No instructions sent, so it took a while to find out how to lock blade in place. You have to turn the compass and then it will lock the blade in place.
