rstp://192.168.10.10/live/main/av_stream works fine. Just make sure you have the right IP address.

I have two of these, and one works great, extending the HDMI with Windows 11 display, and it is on V1.00.11. The older one is on V1.00.02 and is glitching. I would like to update to the latest version to see if it fixes the issue. Where can I obtain a firmware update?

Can you use more than one extender on a network to allow two or more sources on the network? If so, how do you connect a specific receiver to a specific extender?

BEST ANSWER: From what I can see, you would need to configure a fixed IP on a different subnet. The receiver does not have any configuration for the source IP.

BEST ANSWER: Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry. Depending on the full setup that is being used with this could cause variables. Overall this is a near zero delay.

There is no audio stream when I try to decode using VLC on a computer. I have tried multiple input devices, with the same result...no audio stream when using VLC. The hardware decoder works, but not VLC on a computer. Is Monoprice planning to fix this?

I'm going to put this on it's own network, will I need a router in place to provide DHCP or will a switch alone work with this?

VLC/RTSP has no audio
Purchased this kit because it specifically calls out compatibility with VLC. The video works fine, but there is no audio throughput in the RTSP stream even though the instructions and screenshots in the instructions show an audio channel. After attempting with numerous sources and instances of VLC on various devices I reached out to support. After a few weeks of back and forth I was told that VLC will no longer be supported and VLC will be removed from the website description. One month later it is still there.
The physical receiver hardware works as one would expect. It's too bad they aren't willing to put in the effort to fix the firmware to properly support an Audio and Video channel in the RTSP stream.

Easy to set up and good picture quality
Use these for multiple office locations to deliver monthly information. Works great, even across several states.
