Can this be leveled after mounting to the wall?
A shopper
on Nov 20, 2022
BEST ANSWER: Depending on the size of lag bolts that you use you may not have any adjustment. Should you use thinner lag bolts you may have 1/8" of an inch of adjustment. In other words, you will have very little wiggle room. Measure three times and drill once.

there's a small level that is included with the mount. While the mounting holes allow for a small amount of adjustment, you really want to make sure that the mount is actually level before drilling your holes.

i used toggle bolts so for that type of install yes...for traditional bolts into studs you probably could still keep the bolts loose and level it

If you mean the cables, power and HDMI, I had mine installed into the wall so they would not show. You have to attach them to the TV before you hand it to the mount.

Is this mount a single-piece unit or do you have to bolt it together?
Jon S
on Feb 15, 2023
BEST ANSWER: The wall bracket comes in two pieces, and there are 12 phillips head screws supplied to screw it together. You can see some of them in the photo. Takes just a few minutes as long as you have the right screwdriver. Very easy.

Can you attach to wall studs on 24" centers rather than the normal 16" centers?
A shopper
on Nov 30, 2022
BEST ANSWER: Monoprice should put the actual dimensions of the wall bracket in the listing. If they do I can't find it. I measured the width of the bracket as best I could now that it's on the wall and behind my TV and it is just over 24" wide so I think you could hit two studs 24" apart.

Should the mounts (Parts B and C in the instructions) be centered on the VESA mount holes? I'm other words, how do I pick which to p hole in B or C to use?
A shopper
on Sep 22, 2023
BEST ANSWER: You can pick the hole you want the screw to be in for the B and C into the TV. All The different holes on B/C allow you to adjust the TV up and down ( assuming the wall mount part A, has already been attached to the wall),. choose whichever hole on B/C best suits your desired viewing height.

You can use any of the holes on the mounting brackets to attach to the VESA holes on the TV. Select the holes that place the TV at the wall height you desire.

Can someone explain what the strings are used for?
A shopper
on Oct 27, 2023
BEST ANSWER: The strings allow you to remove the TV, after it's been installed. (There are magnets at the end, so you can tuck them out of the way behind the TV. ) Pulling down on the strings releases the latches that lock the bits that get screwed to the TV to the bits that are screwed to the wall.

The strings are used to engage or disengage the latching mechanism to secure the mount to the bracket. They also have magnets on the end to attach the strings to the mount itself so that they do not hang below your TV.

When do I need to use the included standoffs?
A shopper
on Oct 9, 2023
BEST ANSWER: The standoffs are needed on some TV's so that the frame clears the TV housing. Or you can use the standoffs to move the TV out further away from the wall so that you can tilt the TV more.

I see that VESA 600x400 is covered so this is likely a dumb question but just wanting to be sure before I purchase: Would a TV with VESA 600x300 be compatible with this mount? Thanks for your assitance!

Tilt TV Wall Mount - Handles 86" TV
We hung a 86" LG with this mount as it was rated beyond the weight capacity that we needed. Installation went smoothly, we did not encounter any sharp edges or burrs. Tons of screws and spacers for arm attachment to the TV. Came with lag bolts for wall attachment as well as a level. Very satisfied with this purchase and would purchase again without hesitation.

Good basic mount with no tilting flexibility
Mount is good, but as others have indicated, the tilt brake system doesn't work, so the TV slides down within minutes. Customer service was nice enough to send another one at no charge, but I'm expecting it to have the same problem...

Excellent Choice
Bought to mount a 2023 LG OLED 55" C3. Easy to install and works perfectly to hold the tv. Tilt option very useful in adjusting the screen to the best viewing angle.

Needs a redesign
The product can't support the weight of my TV (despite it being rated for my TV weight and size) and so the tilting mechanism just tilts the TV facing down towards the floor. I tightened the bolts as far as possible, and it still can't support the weight and so it slowly drifts facing down. So now I use a box in between the TV and the wall in order to prevent it from tilting down towards the ground. This product can use a redesign. I would not buy this product again and I would recommend others avoid it unless their TV is small and light, there are still better products out there.
I gave it two stars instead of one star because it does hold the TV onto the wall.
