Does this work for extending a tv to come lower that’s above a fireplace mantle?

BEST ANSWER: I don’t think so. The mount allows the TV to be pulled out and rotate left/right as well as tilt. It does not allow the TV to be lowered from its mount position.

BEST ANSWER: Ease of movement haas more to do with the weight of the TV and not the size of the screen. I had a very heavy TV mounted on this wall mount and had no problems moving the screen around.

I have a 60 inch and it moves freely. If your going with a Led TV weight should not be that much more and with the dual arm it should have no issue.

Fully extended, what is the maximum range can it tilt to the left or right? Can it do more than 45 degrees?

BEST ANSWER: I would say it stops a little short of 45 degrees. The larger the TV, the less it will pivot. I have a 55" on this mount and it is a bit less than a full 45 pushed to one side or the other. But it is a great mount.

Your. Answer will depend upon the maximum extension and the size of the TV. If your max ext is 24” and the TV is less than 48” across then you can do 90 degrees either way. Simple STEM math.✌️

BEST ANSWER: I used the wall mount I purchased from Monoprice for my 85” Samsung(93lbs) and it worked out flawlessly!
The mount is easy to install and everything needed is supplied. I’ve used Monoprice numerous times in the past and have never been disappointed! This mount also has cover plugs in case the bolts would be exposed/seen so it looks clean when they’re covered up. This mount will be slightly seen, so this is a nice additional feature. Hopefully I answered your question.

BEST ANSWER: Description says up to 600 x 400 vesa. Weight is also a big concern. I like to use a tilt or stationary wall mount with heavy TVs if possible.

What is the size of the foot print for the bracket that is mounted on the wall? Is it designed for 16inch on center studs? Or is it also designed for 24inch on center studs? Oregon has gone to 24inch on center and 16inch only allows for 2 lag bolts in a stud on one end/side.

When mounting on a wall, do you need to use the center mounting point, or are the left and right side points enough to support a standard 65-inch TV?

Exactly what I needed!
Sixteen inch on center studs center line was not where I wanted the center line of the TV to land. This mount allowed me to shift the TV to where I wanted it.

Monoprice full motion TV Wall Mount.
This is a heavy duty unit. It works very well with my Samsung 65" TV.
Assembly and installation was simple. An extra set of hands will make the installation easier, especially when mounting the TV.

Happy in New England
This is a beefy strong unit. Just by the weight of it you know it could handle any big screen TV. Ours is only a 78" but it looks great on the wall! It perfect! Would recommend it to anyone!
