Sturdy and beautiful. I chose this one because I have large bookshelf speakers and this one fit perfectly I just had to turn the speaker stand sideways. A little on the pricey side but couldn't find a large enough platform anywhere else.

The stands came well- packed were easy to assemble. The top plate is large enough to hold a big bookshelf speaker and I like that the support pieces are solid wood, which gives a richer look and is plenty strong.

I'm deducting a star because there's no cable management and, more importantly, because the stands are a little wobbly on my carpet, even with the carpet spikes installed. Having said that, I'd buy these again in a heartbeat - they offer tremendous value for the price and are far superior to other stands I've bought online in this price range (I got them on sale for about $64).
