Perfect right out of the box!

Haven?t had any device capable of fully utilizing the full power of these cables but am sure they can pull it off. I purchased these as I recently wall mounted my tv and wanted to run the cables in the wall for a very clean look. Also figured if I was running cables inside a wall I may as well ?future proof? myself for at least my next tv and buy hdmi 2.1 cables. The cables are pretty nice from what I can tell, one point to make is they are VERY stiff which made running them around my entertainment center a little challenging, so for that I deducted a bit from their score, honestly it?s closer to a 4.5 than a four but it was enough to make them slightly annoying to position. I would definitely recommend these though cause for the price I don?t think you can beat the deal.

Works great - nice to have full 4K Dolby Atmos out of the Apple TV.

So far have these connected to LG 4k OLED with Nvidia Shield Pro and is good for 4k, HDR, Dolby Vision. Have these connected to Sony X900 to PS5 and running 4k or 1080p @ 60fps, HDR, everything works. Can't test VRR, but so far so good. Best value on the market right now.

The stiffness of these braided cables make it hard to work with them in confined areas. The bend radius near the connector is limited and it is even difficult to keep the connector straight while attempting to insert into the device. There are more equally good, more flexibly, cables out there.

I had been trying to get my new HDTV and new receiver to communicate with each other via the HDMI-eARC enabled HDMI ports and settings. Nothing was working but I was using an older HDMI cable which is also Monoprice and has always worked in the past. A colleague suggested that the issue could be this cable was not up to the required standard. So I ordered some of these newer cables. And as soon as I switched out the cable, the HDM-eARC communication just started working, so, problem solved. I am so pleased with these cables that I just ordered more of these to replace all of my older HDMI cables.
