I would assume that they should work but I don't have any experience swapping receivers between different splitters.

Is this backward compatible with older HDBaseT TV side adapters? Specifically, I have a Monoprice 108160 1 x 8 HDMI Amplifier Splitter where a port has gone bad, and I don't want to take 8 TVs off the wall to change the adapters.

Do the receivers get power over ethernet (PoE) or coax (PoC)? Description says PoC but then says it gets power over ethernet.

Do the audio coax and 3.5 mm analog ouputs work simultaneously?

Is there a way to reduce the signal strength for (relatively) shorter runs? I replaced a cheap splitter/extender with an earlier revision of this product because the cheap one would overdrive the signal for runs that apparently weren’t the maximum it could handle. The earlier version of this product included DIP switches on the receiver to adjust the signal strength according to the length which fixed this issue for us. But, I don’t see that option in the description nor the pics for this current version.

Mostly work as they should, not wholly satisfied. But they are working.
Have some issues with the units seemingly signal refreshing. Installed shielded cable and components, certified cabling and secured all devices. Units run extremely warm. Currently not using the devices to max capacity of splits/extensions and only running approximately 1/2 the allotted distance. Over work well but some improvements could be viable. Would be nice to be able to rack mount. Difficult to cable manage. Overall happy but room for improvement.

This unit does not work on cat 5e. You need to note that in the specifications very clearly.
