BEST ANSWER:As a 20 year audio room designer I can assure you PVC has no bering on the sound. Simple Physics. What you want to think about is the strand count, resistance/distance. Be careful about listening to the snake oil salesman.

The cable seemed to be of good quality, but it didn't fit me needs. It was to be used for a rock band PA system speaker wire. The outer casing was stiff and not very flexible. It would have made it difficult to coil up for storage at time to break down the set. No free shipping for return. It would have cost $23.00 to return a $25.00 item. Not happy with that either.
