Any more info - as lifting the TV off of the hanger and then reconfiguring (with a 3rd hand?) doesn't sound very convenient

No. The hanger is not locked onto the cross brace. But, the simplicity of changing orientation is great. Just lift the TV off the hanger, reconfigure mounts on the back of the TV, rehang, and done.

Believe the 31.5! It extended outside of a 28" cubby to be flush with my wall, AND i had enough room to get my hand behind it, to plug in the HDMI

Which spec is correct. Swivel +-60 degree or 180 degree? I see some conflicting data here. If it's +-60 degree, I don't think it can do 90 degree to a side.

It swivels 180 degrees, which is clearly labeled on the 'Product Dimensions' PDF available under the 'CLICK TO DOWNLOAD SUPPORT FILES' section. The 180 degree swivel is also visible in one of the photos that shows the mount in the closed position. As of the time of writing this answer the description incorrectly states the swivel, and the 'Sales Sheet' PDF incorrectly states both the swivel and the extension amount. Monoprice needs to correct the description and the 'Sales Sheet PDF' instead of just answering in the questions and answer section...

Can I mount a 65 inch tv and still turn it 90 degrees?

BEST ANSWER: This mount does not allow you to rotate the tv from potrait to landscape.. you only have the options to mount in potrait or mount in landscape. Once mounted that's it. I have 2 of these sitting in the box in the garage unusable because the description is very misleading. You will not get a full 90 degree turn if you mount in landscape and want to turn the tv 90% to be perpendicular to the wall.

BEST ANSWER: I have a 75" Samsung and had no problems mounting it on the wall and attaching the TV. Make sure you place the bracket on center so that you can screw the lag bolts into the studs. My TV swivel far enough (not quite 90 degrees) but close enough.

Why does it only fit up to 75inch tvs? If they have a matching Vesa and are under the weight (c9 77) why wouldn't they fit?

Does this mount allow the TV to tilt slightly downward? So if flat mount against the wall was considered a 90 degree position can it tilt to like an 80 degree position?

BEST ANSWER: No, this mount wouldn't work for that. The way the arm is designed, if it were oriented in such a manner that the TV could be moved downward, there wouldn't be anything to hold it against the wall (short version: the arm would fall to full extension).
Monoprice -does- have a mount that would work for pulling a TV out and downard; the Model 27773. Check that one out and see if it fits your needs.

BEST ANSWER: The mount itself obviously doesn't come with a cord but the mount can be positioned on the stud to sit right next to an electrical outlet. I center the outlet right in the middle of the mount but either way is long as the electrical outlet is somewhere behind the television, you won't be able to see it

BEST ANSWER: The wall bracket itself is 18" wide and the mounting holes are 17 wide. So hard to say if it'll work. You would have to drill one set straight on the studs and the other 2 drill diagonal to grab the studs on the sides.

Great TV mount - Monoprice rules again
Bought this for my parents 65" tv. wall was back about 19" from where the tv sits. everything about this was class. hardware supplied very extensive. Even came with an hdmi cable we didn't need, but came with everything. Template worked great. Just get a good stud finder. Bolts in the wall were very serious, it is mounted super securely, and mounting the tv to the mount was very easy, and again very secure. Doesn't sag, my parents love it, would buy again in a minute.

I wish it could do the larger mounts on the tv like 600x 600. I wish there were more adjustments left to right and up and down.

Priced Right, Works Perfectly, No Complaints!
Thank goodness for Monoprice!! My contractor told me about them a few years ago, it's always his first stop. I recently moved out of state and was in a rush to get my new place set up. Went to Best Buy and spent way too much on a mount. Was complaining to my dad (lol- daddy's girl) and he reminded me about Monoprice (I've got the whole family using them). Returned my Best Buy purchase and I am more than satisfied with my Monoprice mount! As a matter of fact, I bought 2! And saved $200 on each (compared to BB).

Perfect, sturdy and a great price
This was a perfect solution for our need. We have a deep TV cabinet and a TV that just fits horizontally... It's wide enough that the doors would not close if the TV was stationary. This mount allows us to push the TV back into the cabinet and turn it enough that the doors will close. It was also long enough to clear the depth of the cabinet. We got it on sale and felt like it was a fantastic value!

Well worth the money!
Well-made, very sturdy, and very versatile. Can tilt to either side at least 45 degrees, and comes out from the wall 31 inches! Even better than I expected!

Heavy Duty
I bought 2 of these, one for the living room and one for the covered deck. When they arrived I was surprised how heavy they are. Very well constructed and strong.
I'm just finishing up renovating my house, so why the walls were open I added extra blocking to mount these to knowing the studs weren't going to be exactly in line with where I wanted the mounts.
They come with all the hardware you need, an accurate template and a cheap little level. I didn't like the washers for the lag bolts because the are rather small so I used some standard size washers I already had.
I have yet to actually hang either TV on the mounts but I'm sure that will be no problem and everything will work as designed. A 55" on one and 43" on the other.
