I don't know why, but this cable caused me problems connecting a Roku box to TV -- lots of interference in the picture, and after a few seconds the TV no longer recognizes the connection. If I use a different cable, Roku box works fine; and if I use this cable with a different device (DVD player), that works fine also! So, I don't know how to explain it, but it has a different quality than the other cable I am using.

This cable solved my problem. A long run to a Mac display was failing using a powered mini display port extender. But this HDMI cable carries the signal flawlessly with no external boosting needed. The flat profile enabled feeding the cable through tight crowded conduits.
