Monoprice Select USB 3.0 USB-A to USB-A Cable 6ft Black
Monoprice Keystone Jack - USB 3.0 A Female to A Female Coupler Adapter, Flush Type (White)
BEST ANSWER: Theoretically, yes. First, make sure that cable is CL in-wall rated. You'll also want to be sure that the wall boxes you're installing the plates onto are deep enough to accommodate the length of both the keystone and the USB cable boots. If you don't have enough depth in the boxes a 90° USB connector placed on the keystone can help.

Can i use this cord to Connect laptop to a printer?
A shopper
on Nov 25, 2025
BEST ANSWER: Hi, thank you for your inquiry. This cable may not work to connect a laptop to a printer. Most printers use a USB-B port (square shape). The correct cable for that is a USB-A to USB-B cable, often called a "USB printer cable."

I believe this is dependent on the type of cable connection your printer has. This is a universal USB-C connection as shown in the picture of this product. Most printers I have encountered that connect with a USB cable do so using a USB-B cable similar to the one I have pictured below. Please check your printer before buying a new cable.

The answer provided (by someone on Staff?) is not much of an answer. Is this cable rated for USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 GBps) or Gen 2 (10 Gbps)? Superspeed or Superspeed+?

A to A USB 3.0? A "rare cable" find!
A to A USB connectors are becoming IT rarities. These help "plug the gap" and like most of the Monoprice gear, are anticipated to work just fine when needed!

Excellent! Exactly what we ordered! No complaints at all! They are always here when they say they will be, if not sooner! Thank you, Monoprice!

Bought the wrong type cable but it looks good.
It looks normal for a cable of that type from Monoprice. Would be a fine cable I'm sure. Unfortunately I purchased the wrong type of cable. I needed a data transfer cable to move content from old PC to new PC and due to lack of experience I had assumed this cable would do it. I now know better but haven't transferred anything or found another use for it yet. I ordered a Monoprice data transfer cable and waiting on delivery which is about 2 more days now. Maybe a USB 3.0 F/F Adapter will let me use it as an extension cable. Didn't try to return it because it was my fault and not Monoprice's.
