I notice that the split cables are unmarked and so, how to identify the red and white?

BEST ANSWER: By red & white, you are referring to Left & Right channels - that is not how this splitter works. The source is only a single channel (red or white, left or right), and the output is two copies of the same source. So if you plug a red cable into it, you will split it into two copies of red, not a red & white.

This type of splitter is useful if you have a single bass output that you want to send to two separate powered subwoofers, for example - the same single goes to two destinations.

I don’t think this is for splitting stereo audio. I think the intended use is a single mono subwoofer output to dual inputs on a subwoofer.

Doesn't matter! This is splitting a mono signal into two outputs. There will be no stereo signal, so, no need for L/R identification.

Left or right connections wont matter since they are being combined into one connection. They can be connected either way.

I'm unfamiliar with non-color-coded, to be certain, this transmits stereo when convert RCAs to a single 3.5mm jack? This not monoize I hope not?

Surprise surprise surprise

So surprised at how great these are. I took a chance on these because I had heard some great reviews about monoprice speakers on gr research. I thought maybe the quality would extend to other products and it does. These are on par with many of my high-end audio cables. Audioquest Cardas, wire world.

GREAT CABLING PRODUCT.....!!

RG-6 cable with soldered connections...VERY SOLID.....no stranded-wire here! Cloth sheath makes handling easier than the standard RG-6 cables...very classy! All of Monoprice's cables are top-notch materials and products. We use them exclusively....

Great Y-adapters!

I decided to replace some really old adapters with these. I used these to split my dual sub outputs from my Yamaha avr into four powered subwoofers. A great overall improvement in sound quality. Very satisfied with purchase.
