Can't say that I heard any sound improvement from these, but at least the jacks are well-made; the screw-tighten feature is a nice touch. I wish there was a sonic improvement, and a red band on one of the jacks.

Good quality, but not marked for positive/negative connect.

The cable is thick and solid, it doesn't look like it could break even if you abuse it. It's also well shielded and seems to work quite well.

The negatives:
The connectors are really tight and I had trouble pushing them in all the way. Also they aren't coded so you have this long cable and hard to tell if you are plugging it in correctly.

Solved a problem with radio frequency interference (RFI) between my turntable and preamp! Couldn’t be happier. These are a 25-foot run, carrying the signal from a MM phono cartridge — barely there — but these interconnects are DEAD SILENT and sound fantastic! The previous setup was from Radio Shack, and they carried a 60-hz noise along with the phono signal. No more! Thank you Monoprice!

The sonic series interconnects are an absolute bargain! They are everything that I had hoped that they would be!! The locking connectors work really well!!! One more happy customer!!!! Five stars!!!!!

Best RCA cables I've used

I needed a very long rca cable pair to connect my subwoofer to my preamp. I was worried about an RCA cable length of 25' picking up noise and interference but these cables worked perfectly. There is no noise whatsoever. The cables are definitely shielded well because I had to run the cable right past several electrical wires but they didn't pick up any hum.

The connectors are very high quality too, they tighten down firmly for a good connection.
