Are the RCA "heads" Metal?
Alfred T
on Jun 26, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes they are! I found the cables to be of very high quality. The only thing I thought could be improved was to have some left-right indicators for each end of the cables to make connections easier (I had to mark them myself). But as usual, Monoprice has superior quality and a great price.

Is the price for 1 cable?
mike t
on Jan 31, 2023
BEST ANSWER: Two channels - while the two single channel cables aren't actually attached to each other physically (there are two sleeves near the ends to hold them together), technically there are two cables. You can connect two channels with what you get. Ex: TV sound output, RED and WHITE to Receiver sound input, RED and WHITE. Two cables, connection for two channels.

It’s technically 2 cables, but they’re joined together as to be a single piece. There are two RCA connectors on each end (total of four).

Is this for a pair of RCA to RCA interconnects or for a single interconnect?
A shopper
on Nov 18, 2020
BEST ANSWER: For a matched pair. My only complaint is that there is no marking on these interconnects to distinguish one from the other, ie +/-, red/white, etc. other than that small exclusion, I highly recommend them and use the in both my music systems and my home theater audio system. RK

Just as shown in the photo for this product and indicated by the description "stereo", this cable is a pair of Male RCA jacks (left and right) to a pair of Male RCA jacks (left and right) of whatever length you decide to order. Hope this helps.

No, they are not. Also, they are completely separate cables, so ensure to connect one end-to-end so as not to mix up the left and right channels. These are excellent quality cables and would recommend them highly.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
This would be a single cable but it would have two conductors.
It would look similar to our other RCA cables like #5346.

Can these RCA's be used for high end Car Audio?

BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure. I use them for my home theater subwoofers (two JBL E250s) into my Denon AVR-X6700H receiver. If you look up the specifications of the subwoofers and receiver you might find the answer. I would think that it's possible. Sorry for the vague answer.

Excellent cable
Excellent cable. This cable is used for a pre-amp to amplifier connection on my home entertainment system. I like that these can lock in place on the RCA connector.

Excellent Build Quality!!!
I returned them because I wanted balanced audio. However when I had them, they are very well built and think. They do bend fine as I didn?t experience what others experienced. The locking doesn?t work all the time, but it does secure it to the RCA connector.
Great all around and heavy for a RCA cable. If I didn?t have XLRs in my amp I would keep these. No need to spend $25+ per cable.

No frills interconnect
Because both ends of the cable look exactly the same, you can?t tell left from right connection. Also, cable is STIFF. It sounds fine, which is what matters most. Looking for refinement? You?ll have to pay extra for that.

Good quality interconnection, sound quality seems as good or better than anything I have tried. Definitely worth the price.
Yes they are stiff so make sure you have room behind your equipment. The ability to tighten and loosen the rca is a real plus to avoid damaging your equipment.

Look and feel like they cost way more. Great purchase.
I had just bought some new, higher-end equipment and wanted to get some fresh cables that at least felt like an upgrade to the cheesy cables included with equipment. Several online reviews later I believed that cables are important but not to go crazy as the law of diminishing returns applies heavily in this field. These Onix cables looked the part and had a price point that made me feel like they were an upgrade but not silly so I bought them. My new equipment sounds great and I'm super thrilled with the sound. If that's all on the equipment, fine but I'd like to think the cables play a part in my happiness. Good on Monoprice for making a product that looks and feels high-end without breaking the bank. Kudos.

Great Cables for the Price
I Love the look of these cables but they are not very flexible and takes a minute to get them set the way I want. For the Price they are very good. They have a feature where you loosen the connector then when you connect it you tighten them up so they don't get disconnected. Recommended for use on the Liquid Spark.
