The cable fits the plugs as it should. Yet when connected the monitor kept blacking out every few seconds. The image was fine when I could see it.

We bought this cable to replace one that had begun allowing noise into the VGA signal. Once we switched over to this cable, the projector signal cleared right up. Two things I like about this cable: it's a bit longer than the one it replaced, so we have some play to avoid noisy items in the attic; and, it's a thicker cable than the one it replaced and I'm hoping that will make it last longer as well as being more resistant to EM noise.

I bought this to run up the wall, across the ceiling rafters to hook a laptop to a projector. I needed 50' length to do that. I had previously used a 10 cord and was a little concerned if there would be any difference in quality of the picture with the longer cord. No difference at all! I am very pleased.
