I cannot have wireless connectivity in my environment. Can this microphone be directly wired to the computer?

BEST ANSWER: Yes it can with the included USB cable. However it is not a WIFI microphone in the normal sense. It is called WIFI because it comes with its own wifi USB adapter that that allow the microphone to be use wirelessly. It only connects to itself. I just installed this microphone for a lawyer client to do zoom meetings and it worked beautifully. Just plug it in and the computer automatically connects to the microphone.

You understand it works with its own wifi? That it sends a signal, not on Bluetooth frequencies but on a wifi frequency? It doesn’t require wifi to work. Plug and play. Wifi signal travels 15 feet to your table. I don’t believe you can plug the USB into the computer without having a driver of some kind. And you could find on monoprice less expensive microphones that don’t need the wifi stability. Direct plug and play if that is your need and save money.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, but unless the microphones are all muted except one there is potential for the others to pickup and echo the person talking.

What does the HiFi button do?

BEST ANSWER: According to the owner's manual, found in this listing, the HiFi button is used to switch between music and conferencing modes. We don't use it for music, so I've never tested that.

How do I daisy chain two of these together? I purchased one with a Camera then bought another as the conference room is large but cannot get them both to work, Do you plug both wireless dongles into the machine?

Wireless Omni Directional USB Conference Room
We have been using the wireless mic/speaker for several weeks now and quite happy with its performance. Ease of installation and use was appreciated by our staff.
