Can these speakers be put in a bathroom? I'm worried about moisture causing problems. We are building a house and want to put a pair of speakers in our master bath. Thanks for your response!

BEST ANSWER: For my master bath I used a pair of dual input stereo speakers. 6.5" Dual input speakers play both left and right channels and need to have left and right speaker wires running to them. The setup fills my master bath with awsome sound and I never had a problem with moisture. If your building a house go with the 6.5" around the whole house and 8" center channel for your surround system. In-wall subwoofers will be passive so you would need to use the preamp sub out to an amplifier. This will rock your house.

I put these in a remodeled master bathroom but made sure they weren't directly over the shower and I had a very powerful fan installed (240CFM). So far no issues and they sound great.

Is there a set of back cans that is compatible with the slim-bezel version of these speakers?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, product# 11941, ABS Back Enclosure (pair). I installed 4 slim bezel 6.5" caliber speakers using those back cans. They fit perfectly, and they look and sound great.

Not that I have found. I built a plywood box to protect my ceiling mounted speakers. I think the next size up speakers have back cans.

Can these be used in a car?

BEST ANSWER: I would say no. You would need special mounting brackets and these are designed for ceiling mount. You would need to create some kind of modified mount in order to make it work. They would sound great in a car though.

Are you able to mount these speakers in the Monoprice Rough-In 6 in. Speaker Brackets? Does these speakers come with the necessary hardware to mount to those? Or do you have to purchase something else as well?

Would these be good for atmos channels? Other speakers in my set up are Paradigm Premier series and was wondering if it would be a good match.

Extremely poor fitment of grill ruins the product
I have been working on my home theater setup for months now. Part of the job was painting the ceiling black, which included blending in the speakers. I prepped the unit and grill separately, painting them properly. Once everything was in, I expected to just pop the grills back in. Little did I know, it was absolutely impossible to get the grills back in without it bending and distorting itself. The tolerances are off enough where you cannot just center it and snap it in without having one side stick out. It was painful enough to reduce one star for each speaker, that's how bad it was.

Small Pre work required
Good speaker, I found I need to pretighten the screws first then unscrew to allow the clips to work correctly with the sheetrock. After I found that fix, all 5 pairs were installed without issue. Sounds is ideal for the requirement/need.

Great speakers
Absolutely recommended. I installed a pair of these in the office and got great sound quality at level 50 from the Onkyo receiver. Haven't stepped it up to 75 yet but feel confident in the quality and price
