Can this be mounted to the wall with the monitor? I am looking to mount behind the monitor and than mount to the wall

BEST ANSWER: It can be mounted to the wall and the monitor to it. I chose to mount it to the wall, next to a monitor mount that will give me more motion. It makes it hard to access the thin client if it is mounted to the monitor. Hope this helps.

BEST ANSWER: It can be mounted to the wall and the monitor to it. I chose to mount it to the wall, next to a monitor mount that will give me more motion. It makes it hard to access the thin client if it is mounted to the monitor. Hope this helps.

shouldn't be a problem. Fasten one half of the bracket to the wall and the other half to the monitor then attach the two halves together using the thumb screws

I believe so if mounted like a datacloset scenario with good anchors. Possibly mounted to a piece of plywood.

Can this be mounted in between the monitor and a mount? It looks like it could, but the pictures and the instructions don’t show this.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, yes you can place this between a monitor and a mount, the VESA hole patterns on this product would allow you to do so, you can follow step 2C in the manual for this. Maximum recommended weight is 11 lbs. Just note that this shifts the weight and center of gravity of the mount forwards so the mount would probably need to be adjusted for balance. BEST ANSWER: Yes! You would mount this in between your monitor and the Workstation Wall Mount then hang it on the bracket you attached to the wall. To visualize where this CPU holder is installed, just go to downloads for the Workstation Wall Mount and download the User Manual. See figure 4. It includes the hardware too.

Does the 11 pound limit include the monitor, or is it just for the PC inside the bracket?

BEST ANSWER: I honestly have no definitive answer because it could easily be read either way. I personally try to only use them on super light thin clients and super light monitors.

Mini pc vesa mount
Works well to mount a mini pc to the back of a monitor and still be able to attach to a vesa wall or post mount.

Handy and inexpensive.
Used this mount to create my own all-in-one desktop for our kitchen. Used a inexpensive Chromebook slipped into the mount that was attached to the monitor.

The perfect gadget for a lot of Mac Mini uses!
This item is well made, nicely priced and incredibly handy. My wife?s ancient iMac died and I decided to replace it with a Mac Mini. Since her iMac was attached to a wall mounted VESA, installing the Mac Mini could have been a big pain but for this gadget. I mounted one side of this to the VESA and the new monitor to the other side, fitting the Mac mini and a matching Satechi Type-C hub neatly into the bracket itself. You can strap the mini into this bracket for a bit of extra security. I even got a mini SSD for the Time Machine role that I stuck next to the mini with tape backed velcro. The whole setup takes up very little space and the only cords to the unit are the power cords for the mini and the monitor.

Sturdy and well made.
Works well for most lunchbox PCs. Didnt work for my specific need though this was a research purchase. Well made and sturdy. Vesa patterns should work for most.

Xbox one S Friendly
Good quality. I was able to successfully mount behind a 32 inch hdtv using an adapter plate as the VESA is 200 on the tv side. Nice alternative to the other mounting solution for the Xbox One S of having to mount it on the wall which in my opinion is not so sightly! Convenient with the included hardware. Just had to buy 2 nuts as the provided adjusting nuts did not work with the larger adapter plate.

A little smaller than I thought
I bought two of these for an USFF computer (OptiPlex 780), because the pictures made this look like they were a lot larger than they were. I can't really take advantage of any of the mounting options besides mounting under a desk, but I really like the versatility of how it could be mounted. Overall, the computers I am using for this are probably a little too large and maybe a little too heavy, but with the velcro strap and they should be fine.
