if the connector itself can withstand high forces, will this strength potential damage the port if the cable was accidentally pulled hard. I almost prefer to have something break off without damaging the port itself. fixing the lighting port is expensive. Will these damage the lighting port?

BEST ANSWER: That wouldn’t happen. Just more durable from bend breakage of the wire internally! You won’t be disappointed!

A definite upgrade over the stock iPhone lightning cable
This cable is indeed a much better made compared to the iPhone equivalent. Also having it in a 6' length helps a lot as well.

My new go-to cord
A great substitution for the braided Lightning cords I used to order, which are no longer available. The plastic barrels are longer and larger than others, but don't get in the way and are frankly a bit easier to grip.
