The two retaining screws have a very fine thumb knurl and do not have screwdriver slots on top which makes installing and removing the connectors very difficult. Would not recommend. This problem exists on the others lengths of this cable also. This is surprising as other types of cables bought from Monoprice have been great.

Excellent heavy gauge quality cable. Much better than what usually comes with the monitor. I expect it to last a long time.

As you know I've purchased one of these before and this was my second one upon ordering it and discovering that it was due to arrive the same day as I was cleaning out my closet I discovered the old cable that I was newly replacing yet again not only that one but the original one that I was replacing with the replacement now I have three VGA cables and I gave the monitor away with one of them so I still have two VGA cables available to anyone who needs it thank you ??????

I've been using one SVGA Male-Male 3 ft. cable with ferrites without any special shielding precautions to connect a VGA-HDMI adapter to an older computer without any issues for about 8 months now. It has a measured 11/32 in. diameter. Overall quality appears to be very good at least.
