Will this item work on an Ibm XT-machine 8086?

BEST ANSWER: If you have an IDE card in the XT and it is working it should. This would not work with a MFM/RLL or SCSI adapter.

I have misplaced the documention that came with it, and want to change the jumpers to enable power on pin 20 but there's no markings for JP1-JP3 on the board. Is the documention for this board posted anywhere online?

Makes the compact flash conversion neatly finished.

This works great like the others available, but mounts in an available rear PC case slot.

Excellent for my vintage PC

This worked really well on a classic PC. I can boot win95 right off compact flash. It is super easy to swap out cards and boot into other things. The backplate mount makes it very clean.

Great

As expected, fast shipping, I think it is the ONLY IDE to CF card adapter WITH BRACKET in the whole north America.

PROS: useful

CONS: can't boot from a Transcend Industrial CF Card. I'll try another one soon

Awesome for m0n0wall

I use this adapter in an old Pentium 4 machine along with a x133 4GB Compact Flash card to run my m0n0wall firewall. It has been running for over two months now without a hiccup.
