Would this be fine to run through about 10ft of residential air duct?

BEST ANSWER: Probably yes. Though code typically insists one use plenum cabling in heating ducts for it's flame retardant qualities. Personally, I'd spend a few bucks more in the interests of keeping the family safe and sleeping better.

As a telecom professional, I would never run them through any ductwork. You can but it is just not how it is done. That said, it would not harm the cable but it decreases the efficiency of the duct.

Yes, running this through an air duct should not be a problem at all. I have run a similar long cable through a short segment of air duct and it did not present any problems.

No, this would be to connect from a modem to the router or from the router to devices. DSL uses a telephone wire.

This cable has rj45 connectors on both ends for Ethernet.
So your sockets need to be for rj45 connectors.

What's the difference between this cable and the FLEXboot series cable? Are they the same spec wise? I notice there is a slight difference in the connector.

BEST ANSWER: You can move the plastic flap over cable connector release for the flexboot while flap for snagless is fixed and harder to release cable connector from the socket

Works exactly as expected, no issues.
Used this to power a UniFi G3 camera with 24V PoE. Works perfectly over this 100ft cable.

Awesome, it was the perfect amount of length going from my basement to upstairs - plus a little extra length left!

Network speed slower than with Wifi
Very unsatisfied with this product. I was looking to connect my home office to my router because I have a weak wifi signal in the office because the room is across the house with many walls between the two. After performing a speed test on the network with the cable versus wifi the wifi was still better. Could be I just got a bad cable but it is a waste since I am not even using it since the wifi is still faster. I guess I will be looking or a wifi mesh now.

I would buy again.
This cord works as intended. I liked that it was loosely coiled, so it lined out with ease and without any kinks. I just use it for when I want to work on my laptop outside.
